opposite direction.

so many times you will go backwards…go in reverse…rewind what you probably already done…it’s part of a process. a process of ups and downs …because you will not always get it right or see it the first time. there are so many directions to turn with angles to work with that you haven’t even tried yet. In getting 360 waves, you’re going to use different products, methods, etc. at different stages. This is not a bad thing but a good thing to do that can be a bad thing if you’re not changing with truly grasping the going in an opposite direction.

In waving, there’s a process where you will comb your hair to better your waves. The concept of combing goes completely off of what a brush does to your hair to wave it up. A brush lays down your hair while a comb lifts up your hair. It’s going in the complete opposite direction but the benefits the comb can have to slightly connected, bunched up waves, itchy scalps, getting down to the scalp when paired right does something that a brush can’t do. Another step further, is combing against the grain which is combing backwards. If used right it can have benefits for the waves but if not it can hurt your waves. Thats why it’s important to be consistent while trying something new…you don’t want to lose touch and focus with what is most important. Sometimes we can be so focused on trying something new that we lose touch with the basics then have to U-turn back to the right direction.

All in all, sometimes you have to use the opposite direction to get to the same destination. It’s good as long as you are focused and not distracted on the main thing.
